0.ZBINDEN Horlogerie

The O.ZBINDEN store, named by the fourth generation of watchmakers in this branch of the family, is established at the 17th of the rue du Mont-Blanc since 1942. Ernest Zbinden, watchmaker in the 1930’s, opened a first store at the top of the rue de Coutance. One of his sons, Raymond, did the same but at the rue du Mont-Blanc which at the time, and still now, represented the most important passage in Geneva. Other stores opened with the help of his son Yves in Geneva, Zermatt and Verbier. In the 80’s the decision was taken to concentrate all the business at the rue du Mont-Blanc and to later create the Golyt S.A. company in 1993. In the year 2000 Olivier, the fourth generation of watchmakers, joined the company and took over the presidency in 2013. Since it’s creation, the store has had three major transformations to attain it’s actual size. The store has never stopped it’s development to be able to follow the evolution of the market and the brands.

Omega Speedmaster

The Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of the world’s most iconic timepieces. Having been a part of all six moon landings, the legendary chronograph is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit.

Presented on a polished-brushed five-arched-links-per-row bracelet, this 42 mm Moonwatch in stainless steel features sapphire crystal glass on the front as well as on the caseback. Inspired by the 4th generation Speedmaster style worn on the moon, it also includes an asymmetrical case, black step dial with applied OMEGA logo and the famous dot over 90 on the anodised aluminium bezel ring.

The watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, which powers the small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, along with the central chronograph function.

It is equipped with a silicon balance-spring and innovative non-magnetic components that make this calibre more than 10 times more resistant to magnetic fields than the ISO 764 standard. 

The HydroConquest GMT is also distinguished by its 41 mm-diameter stainless steel case with screw-down back and crown. This model features a new unidirectional notched bezel in blue ceramic with luminescent capsule. The dial is blue.  This version comes with a stainless-steel bracelet, or a blue rubber strap.
