Seit 2009

On Wednesday 3 June 2009, a piece of Italian history arrived in the city of Biel in the Canton of Berne (CH). Garage Scooterland opened its doors and brought with it a myth which was presented on 23rd April 1946 by the company Piaggio.

From then on, Garage Scooterland did everything it could to give its customers complete satisfaction.

Since there was no one in the area before that day, with the same experience as the founder, Fabio Preite, the owners of Vespa's and Lambretta's could finally have their historic vehicles repaired.

The rumours about this new business quickly spread and soon Garage Scooterland had to move to a larger location to exercise all its skills. Location where it is still today.

As the company grew rapidly, Garage Scooterland changed its company name on 1 January 2015 and became a "limited liability company" with sole signatory Mr Fabio Preite.

In addition to the perfect restoration of Vespa's and Lambretta's, Garage Scooterland also takes care of repairs to all Scooter brands and is an official point of sale for LML, SYM and Peugeot brands. 

THE RESTORATION

All our vehicles receive a complete treatment. In order to be able to guarantee our customers the perfect function of the vehicles, we also offer a guarantee of one year. All restorations are carried out as if the Vespa's and Lambretta's were fresh out of production.

THE SELECTION

The vehicles we restore are carefully selected. All vehicles come directly from Italy and are therefore exclusively original. In order to verify the origin, the chassis number must be visible. With a bit of luck, we will receive with these historical vehicles also the corresponding vehicle identification as well as the original number plates (in Italy the vehicle always keeps its own plate). 

THE ARRIVAL WITH US

As soon as we receive the vehicles, they are dismantled in all individual parts. Every part and every screw is collected and sorted according to purpose and function.
