Restaurant Le Théâtre, an institution in the heart of Lausanne
A stone’s throw from la place St François in the heart of Lausanne and parking of Bellefontaine, Le Théâtre offers traditional and progressive cuisine, inspired by the scents and savours of France and the mediterranean, in a refined and elegant setting.
The main menu gathers a wide variety of dishes and a medley of flavours from across France and the mediterranean, while the richness of the local soil and the changing seasons preside in the suggestions from our Chef.
Located in the middle of a green park, the terrace and the garden will enchant you during the hot hours of the day and during the beautiful summer evenings. Emjoy also a coffee, lunch, cocktail or dinner on our heated terace in winter.

The restaurant
"Le Théâtre", it's also a cozy atmosphere, with a welcoming staff and quality service. Our menu offers you a wide choice of traditional and creatives dishes along with delicious wood fire pizzas. And last but not least our daily menus, from Monday to Friday.
The private rooms
With its three lounges and its location in the heart of Lausanne, our restaurant is the ideal place for your family and professional receptions.
For a dinner or a supper in small groups, up to 14 people, our Salon Ramuz welcomes you in an intimate and cosy atmosphere.
With a capacity of 30 to 40 guests, you will retain the private side of the Salon Gilles, while enjoying the quietness and gentleness of this place.
And for receptions of up to 200 people, we have the possibility of renting the Salon Bailly of the Lausanne Opera House; one of the largest halls in the city.
Our menus, from 60.- Frs excluding drinks, change according to the seasons and can be adapted to your food intolerances. If you would like a special menu, a theme for your evening or a cake to mark the event; our Chef will be happy to accompany you.
