The company, founded in 1991 by Pierre-Marie de Muralt under the name "SwissLink", was originally built around a telematics server and the first computer networks (BBS - Bulletin Board System).

Since 1996, having become a public limited company under the name "OpenBusiness", it has reoriented its activities towards technologies based on the IP protocol (Internet Protocol) and all the associated services.

Since then, the company has continued to grow and diversify its fields of expertise.

Alongside the assistance services provided to companies, OpenBusiness SA administers a complete hosting center and a cooperative IT distribution network.
