RIFUGIO AGRITURISMO ALLA META

The farmhouse "Alla Meta," as the name already suggests, is a finish line. A first goal in that, once you arrive at the place, you can establish others.

In Faido, one leaves the valley floor by taking the comfortable road that leads to Carì and that, hairpin bend after hairpin bend, allows the eye to conquer ever wider spaces both towards the valley and towards the peaks. In a short time, about fifteen minutes, the middle Leventina presents itself in all its beauty, imposing but gentle.

Having reached Carì, one proceeds, crossing it, toward Prodör where the road, now flat, narrows from two lanes to one with regular interchange zones, and invites one to stroll a bit to quietly enjoy the view, to oxygenate the lungs and also to whet the appetite considering that "Alla Meta" is now within reach. In fact, from Prodör to the farm, following the road, it takes 35 minutes. After passing Tarnolgio, tackling the piece where the road climbs slightly toward Predèlp, a road that has the honor of leading you into the valley of the same name, and turning left at the foot of the huts of this mountain to descend the last 300m in the direction of the much coveted finish line.

Please note that, for those who are in a hurry and very thirsty and hungry, the road goes all the way to the farmhouse but, as parking spaces are limited, we advise you to leave your vehicle 300m earlier in the parking spaces near the postal service stop.
