The hotel Murtenhof & Krone has two rustically styled and three modern suites. With a minimum of 60 square meters per suite our spacious and comfortable suites are offering anything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Restaurant Terrasse - receptions in our à la carte section

Banquets for up to 80 people can be arranged at the Hotel Murtenhof & Krone. Please let us know the final number of guests at the latest 48 hours before the event. Our chef s suggested menus will include something suitable for every taste and every budget. Our team will of course be happy to take account of special culinary wishes as far as possible.

Its unique location above Lake Murten and the comfort and cozy ambience ensure that everyone attending your event will feel at home from start to finish. Our team has been specializing in planning and organizing all kinds of events for many years, so you can be assured that your business event at the Hotel Murtenhof Hotel & Krone will be perfectly prepared.

Our seminar facilities include a large meeting room for up to 50 people and various group rooms for up to 20 people. A modern infrastructure from conference telephones to air conditioning, from overhead projector to LCD projector, and from flip chart to AV system provides everything you could need to ensure your business event is a complete success.

Surrounding
The area around lake Murten does not only offer amazing sights and panoramic views but as well activities for anyone!
In summer, the medieval town of Murten offers marvelous views of the arcades and many possibilities for walks and maybe stopping by one of the many cafés and enjoy a piece of the famous Vully cake. 
The beautiful nature all around Lake Murten and the vineyards of the Vully region, where the Chasselas grapes grow on nearly 72ha, are the perfect spot to go for a hike. 
The lake side offers great spots for sunbathing and having a refreshing ice cream. Families enjoy particularly the minigolf, the indoor and outdoor pool as well as the historic sites and the huge outdoor playing area, just a few steps away of the hotel.

The open air cinema at the ramparts walls, the Wake +Jam wakeboard contest and the Stars of Sounds concerts with world famous artists are attracting each summer many guests. 
Famous as well are the Murten classics or the Opera in the roman city of Avenches.We do offer special packages and arrangements for these events.

During winter you can have fun ice skating right outsite the ramparts walls or enjoy a wonderful day at the christmas market.
